Here's a simple paper project that can add charm to any springtime celebration, or just add some paper toymaking fun any time of year. There are 2 versions included in the downloadable pdf file. The bigger bunny is cut along the rabbit's curving silhouette. The smaller offers the choice of cutting the silhouette or just cutting out the simpler shape if less experienced hands will be wielding the scissors. Make it into a basket by adding the handle, or leave it as a simple rabbit favor.
Easy and fun for party decor!
Printed out on heavier paper, like card stock, there are so many ways to decorate these and so many ways to use them. Pop in an egg, fill them with faux grass or any kind of treats. Adding a strip of paper with guests names can make each one into a placecard. Turn the kids loose to paint or draw details--colored rabbits and spotted rabbits, even lop-eared rabbits if the ears are folded down.
And the sky's the limit if you want to get really creative with collage or more elaborate embellishments. One of my favorites is just adding a bit of sushi grass. Springtime fun!
